Fixes to MacPorts' base code that will be included in the upcoming 1.6.1 release

For tickets reporting or fixing bugs in the MacPorts system.

For tickets requesting or providing improvements to the functionality of the MacPorts system.

Tickets describing bugs in existing ports, most likely build and/or installation failures. Non bug related enhancements belong in the "Port Enhancements" milestone and updates in the "Port Updates" one, respectively.

Tickets requesting and/or suggesting miscellaneous enhancements to existing ports, like additions of variants, dependencies refactoring or any kind of rearrangements of installed products. Updates to existing ports belong in the "Port Updates" milestone.

Where requests for software packages that are not yet in our ports tree nor in Port Submissions should go. More specifically, Port Submissions is for submissions from non-committers that come complete with a Portfile, whereas this milestone is simply for request(s) to write Portfile(s) for any given software package(s).

Tickets with Portfile submissions we currently don't carry in our tree.

Tickets proposing and/or requesting version updates to already existing ports, whether or not patches are included with them.

Where to submit tickets with patches and/or comments on the MacPorts documentation: man pages, in source documentation, guide and Wiki docs and the main website.
