We haven't heard from the maintainer in response to this ticket or a recent email discussion on the list, so I'll go ahead and commit this:

  • r27496: add livecheck
  • r27497: twiddle the master_sites URL
  • r27498: update to 3.7.6 and change documentation install directory

Simon, I committed the original livecheck, not yours, because yours is based on the faulty livecheck system in MacPorts 1.5.0 which will be fixed just as soon as 1.5.1 is released. So by using the original "correct" livecheck specification, this will be one less thing we'll have to fix again after releasing MacPorts 1.5.1.

I am also mildly curious why you changed the documentation directory to include the version number, since it's not possible to install multiple versions of a port simultaneously anyway.

For consistency's sake with ports that install multiple versions of softwares, as php(4|5) and because I like to know which version I have of a port just by looking at the doc directory
