UPDATE : wormux 0.7.9rc2

Description

Wormux has been updated to version 0.7.9rc2.

The actual version in macports is 0.8alpha1, which is anterior (even if the number should lead us to believe in the opposite).

I submit the diff for the Portfile, which allows me to compile and use v. 0.7.9rc2 without any problem (at least on macintel... I don't have any more macppc to test)

I hope you will soon include it in MacPorts tree.

Note : you will notice an epoch in the diff, which I had to add because the numbering is falling back to 0.7.9rc2, which has to be considered posterior to 0.8alpha1

I will probably end committing it, but :

  • the patch should be in unified format
  • the first hunk is wrong, $Id$ is an SVN-expanded keyword, it shouldn't be modified manually
  • the last hunk changes the hashes algorithms, I don't see the benefit

On a lesser technical note, I committed 0.8-alpha1 because it seemed like an improvement. In the current case, is there an interest not waiting for the real 0.8?

All right for the diff, next time I'll make a diff -u, sorry. Sorry for the $Id$, i had some problems with macports still wanting to install wormux at every port upgrade so I tried some "strange things", and maybe is it a sequel... For the last hunk, wormux provides a MD5SUMS.txt file on their website (http://download.gna.org/wormux/MD5SUMS.txt), so I think this is simpler to check the checksum according to the one they provide and not to a sha1 or rmd160 I compute... But do as you want. Concerning the improvement, they now provide a preversion of AI, and an improved network mode, incompatible with the one in the alpha1 version, so the diffs are important, and they don't know when they are gonna realise a final version, so this could take some time before a final version could be integrated in macports.

I just uploaded the Unified diff, with a correction for the $Id$ which I reverted back to original format.

I hope this helps.
