This ticket updates scons to the latest development version (the previous port
also installed a development version). In addition, it does the following:
- adopts scons for maintenance;
- changes the patching of the
#! line in the python executables provided by
the package from being done by patch files to being done with reinplace, in
order to (hopefully) ease future maintenance;
- alters the final directory in the package's in-built default path from
/sw/bin to ${prefix}/bin; and
- removes the now redundant creation of a directory for the man pages.
The attached patch to the dports tree is designed to be applied with the -p1 option (or -Np1) from the dports directory.
