Description
It seems that at least kdelibs and koffice fail to build with libart_lgpl @2.3.19. (downgrade to @2.3.17 solves this problem.)
# Unfortunately, I have no time to fix this issue for now.

Ah, sorry. The point was that not only koffice but also kdelibs3 fails to build.
Since kdelibs3 is a core library, all kde ports also fail to install.

Anyway, I took a look about this problem and found out a bug in libart_lgpl. Randall, could you please apply this patch to libart_lgpl? Though this is an upstream issue..

Please try upgrading koffice port to current shipping version. Will consider changes to libart_lgpl if current version of koffice will not work with it, as current version of libart_lgpl is shipping as part of GNOME packages.
