Out of curiosity, do you actually use apt?

The easiest way to get this up to date is probably to pull in the FreeBSD apt and dpkg ports we (Three Rings) have been maintaining:  http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/sysutils/apt/  http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/archivers/dpkg/
