Description: stgit is one of a handful of tools used to maintain patchsets on top of git (others are eg guilt). It's actively maintained, via the main git mailing list.

Comments: I happen to use it to do maintenance on cairo. This portfile is the first one I've written for a Python group - I've made it depend on python 2.4 simply because that's what I had installed.

Turned out, stgit is already in macports (in devel/stgit). I removed this duplicate addition. Sorry for this.
So the ticket can be closed now.
