Description
I'm Alex Martelli, gmpy's author and maintainer, and I noticed that py-gmpy uses a years-old version (1.0alpha from 2003), it should instead use the current 1.02 released version hosted at http://code.google.com/p/gmpy/ . Unfortunately I don't yet understand the portfile system well enough to offer an upgrade myself (e.g., no idea how to indicate that the master site is code.google.com now) but I'll be delighted to help in any way I can.

Updated to 1.01. 1.02 is prerelease. Or should that be used anyway forsome reason? Let me know.
