Hi,
Octave has upgraded to version 2.9.10 but 2.9.9+ is available at macports at the moment. I've updated the Portfile and the patches. Please also notice that the octave-forge project builds of single packages since 2.9.10 is out. The user can download single packages himself in install these in Octave (so you may remove the whole port of the macports octave-forge package).
