Description: Updating to the latest release version of GNU Emacs
Comments: This is a slightly edited version of the emacs-devel Portfile.
editors/emacs/files/(ange-ftp.el.diff apple-patches patch-src-xterm-devel.c patch-src-xterm.c) should all be deleted.
At activation time, /opt/local/bin/ctags will conflict with the ctags port if you have this installed.

Adding reporter and myself to the Cc: field, in line with wiki:TracTicketing, as the current Trac setup does not automatically email the reporter.
Committed with some minor adjustments in r26206, r26207 and r26208. Would you like to take over maintenance of this port?

Sure, I'll take it over no problem. At the rate GNU make new releases, it could be years before anything needs to be done anyway :-)

Made you maintainer in r26422; thanks once again! While we're at it, did you want to consider taking over the emacs-devel port as well? I understand perfectly, though, if one is enough :)
