Trac contains no link in either the left side navigation bar or in the top navigation bar to create a new ticket. There should be such an option from within trac.

The link is in the upper right when you are on one of the ticket report pages. So what you want is a link that is always available in the left or top nav?

I'd be also in favor of a more accessible link to create a new ticket (like in bugzilla).

I think the best solution to this problem is simply integrating trac into our new website design, which has a "newticket" link always available on the left navigation sidebar. Bill and I have been talking about this integration, but I don't recall what the conclusion (if any) was....?

The link is not there that I can find. It used to be a ladybug with some text, but is gone, gone, gone.

I would like a "New Ticket" link beside the "View Tickets" link in Trac at all times.

There is now a "New Ticket" link in the left nav and the "New Ticket" (with ladybug) in the upper right on all pages.
