Did %> sudo port install pidgin and it built with no problems. However, when I go to run it, I get this: 

dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.0.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/local/bin/pidgin
  Reason: Incompatible library version: pidgin requires version 1201.0.0 or later, but libgtk-x11-2.0.0.dylib provides version 1001.0.0

I'm using Leopard|Intel 10.5.1 and MacPorts 1.6.0.

Hi,

I just were building from scratch, so took a fresh leopard box, installed macports-1.6.0 and did sudo port install pidgin. It runs just fine, so it works for me.
