`port -R upgrade texlive' goes endlessly looping on port build fail

When I run the command 

port -R upgrade texlive

then the py25-realine failed. This is a separate (port-related) issue (#14828).

Afterwards upgrade procedure went into an endless loop re-trying to build this port. This seems to be a bug.

(Mac OS X 10.5.2, MacBook Core Duo, MacPorts 1.6.0)

Try: 

sudo port clean --all py25-readline
sudo port install py25-readline
sudo port upgrade texlive

Leopard sometimes just seems to drop commands, but when you attempt to recreate the issue, just works

It'll be hard to test this because trunk also has a fix for the environment variable issue that caused py25-readline to fail, but I think this may be the same as #10827. If that's the case, then it's not actually an infinite loop, but a very large amount of recursive dependency+dependent following (possibly exacerbated by duplicate dependency entries as in #8763).

Unless we get evidence to the contrary, I'm going to assume that this was a large but not infinite loop caused by the aforementioned bugs.
