Description
The java and gfortran variants are marked as conflicting with one another. Should that be necessary? Would the attached patch work to allow these two variants to be used together? (I have not tested yet it because it takes a long time to compile.)

Isn't this just an issue while the given version is still in active development? Especially since the conflicts went away with 4.4 after it was released?

I suppose there are extremely few people out there who use an experimental version of gcc for both Java and Fortran development; if the behaviour of gcc45 is a problem to someone, go ahead and change it! (meanwhile I'll mark this one as wontfix, as I do not see a real need for this enhancement)
