Description
To install "yi", I typed "sudo port install ghc yi" then installation of hs-plugins failed.

Their home page is all messed up.
- The homepage listed in the port says 0.9.10 is the latest version.
- Another page at that site lists the 1.0-rc0 version.
- And the hackageDB lists 1.3 as the latest version.
Attached is a patch to update the port to 1.3. Unfortunately it fails in the post-activate phase, and since I don't know what's going on in this port's post-activate phase I'm not sure how to fix it. Suggestions welcome.

A developer of "yi" said to me that "yi" 0.3 does not use hs-plugins. Please remove dependency of "hs-plugins" and update so that "yi" 0.3 can be installed.

I see the same problem if I update hs-plugins to the latest stable version, 0.9.10. But they have a release candidate available, 1.0-rc0, which I'm trying to build now.
