Description
The software xmgr appears to have been superseded by grace. No ports depend on xmgr. Is there a reason to keep the xmgr port around or can it be deleted? Perhaps you would like to become the maintainer of grace, which currently has no maintainer?

As for grace (which I use myself) I'll have a look at the port and see if I feel up for it; I think it is not updated that frequently, which is good ;=)

No! I created this port since this version is used extensively by people (myself excluded) who cannot get used to the different layout in grace. This is also mentioned in the info file.
Sorry, I see it's also mentioned in the port's long description; I didn't read it. The reason for suggesting its deletion is that in #12853 it says that xmgr requires libcompat, and we are seeing if we can remove libcompat because it does not work as of Leopard. The comment in that ticket clearly predates the xmgr port by months, so perhaps it was referring to xmgr compiled by hand. Do you know if xmgr requires libcompat?
