pdftk 1.41_1+with_gcc42 segmentation fault for most files

I compiled under 10.5.5. When trying to merge 2 PDF files, for all but the simplest PDF files, pdftk seg faults. This does not happen using the Ubuntu version.

Example: 

$ pdftk 0924-1509-www.lemonde.fr.pdf 0924-1509-www.lemonde.fr.pdf cat output out2.pdf
Segmentation fault
