Thank you for the glib2 update. Similarly, glib2 will need to be updated to 2.19.0. I had tried to do so, but they both complained that the patch would not apply. I had not yet gotten around to testing whether the universal build now works properly by itself without the patch. What computers and OS versions did you test on?

I've never tried to install glib2-devel. But maybe you are talking about the configure patch of glib2? I've removed it only because it has been merged upstream. I'm running on 10.5.5 on an early 2008 MacBook Pro.

I have now had the chance to build glib2 @2.18.2 +universal using your patch (e.g. removing patch-configure.diff) on both a MacBook Pro and a Power Mac G4. That patch does not appear to have been incorporated upstream, because your 2.18.2 +universal is not identical on Intel and PowerPC, which was the point of the patch. ${prefix}/lib/glib-2.0/include/glibconfig.h differs on the two platforms, where it did not with my 2.18.1. So I will need to figure out which parts of the patch we still need.

Updated glib2 to 2.18.2 in r41475. Still need to update glib2-devel to 2.19.0.
