Description

The hdf5 library (dependency of octave, ...) was updated from version 1.6.7 to version 1.6.8 and only the later can now be found at ​ftp://ftp.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/current16/src/

A patch for the hdf5 Portfile is attached.

However two of the patch files for hdf5 do not apply cleanly and still need to be fixed (patch-gnu-flags.diff and patch-H5PropList.cpp.diff).

duplicate of #17232. Additional mirrors have been added to the 1.6.7 port file to aid in downloading the source. Please 

sudo port selfupdate

and try again.
