I'm trying to find iftop-0.17.tar.gz and put it to /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/iftop manually, but iftop-0.17.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in INTERNET at all.

You must have a firewall blocking the download. I see it here with a browser. http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pdw/iftop/download/ You can preload the distfile as you planned.

I have no firewall on my cmputer. And it look like gateway's firewall not block this site: site is available.
