Description

Currently we have base/config/mp_version (x.yuv) and base/config/macports_version (x.y.u), only one should be used. See r32364 and r32365.

This is especially important if we reach 1.10, as the old format can't handle that.

r32353 suggests that mp_version is no longer accessed anymore, so can we delete in 1.7?

Added back the dp_version file in r53664 so that people trying to selfupdate really old versions will get a useful error message (telling them to install 1.7.1 first).
