I tried to commit this, but I don't appear to have the necessary permissions:

I'm not sure who I thought I was asking this of, as only Mahlon and I are listed explicitly on the ticket. Maybe this trac has an AlwaysCC: setting, but I doubt it. Anyway, I've applied for commit rights as outlined in the Guide, so I'll update the ticket as soon as I know more.

There is a Trac ticket mailing list. So all of the committers should, in theory, see it. Most non-macports maintainers do not have commit rights. In that case, it's enough for the maintainer to simply say they agree with the changes and someone will hopefully commit.
Anyway, I committed the change in r43309. I also removed the revision line since it's a new version.
