Description
I'm connected via a proxy that only allow HTTP. I'm already using the SVN method but MacPorts often tries to download from an FTP server and then fall back on HTTP server. Is there a way to only use HTTP servers ?

Is it really that much of a problem to try FTP, fail, and then try HTTP? If it's taking a long time for the FTP attempt to fail, that's a slightly different issue.
