There's a comment thread on Hacker News where folks are expressing interest in a file mover tool called 'mmv' that is presently not available over MacPorts. Here's a link to the thread if you're curious: ​http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=462312

This appears to be the project site for mmv: ​http://linux.maruhn.com/sec/mmv.html

Anyway, judging by the comments and upmods at Hacker News, there appears to be a good number of shell hackers who would love to have a tool like mmv on their Leopard Macs, myself included.
