Does this really require git-core even when you are not using fetch-type git?

No git-core is not required. I just forgot to remove it after switching the fetch-type. It is fixed in the Portfile for 0.6.1.

distfiles doesn't need set as that's the default value when using use_bzip2.

Missing depends_build on cmake.
