Both gettext and p5-local-gettext built successfully for me.

Can you uninstall and clean both of the p5-locale-gettext and gettext packages, then install them again with port -d? Please attach the debug information as a file.

This is an issue with p5-locale-gettext , not gimp.

Where is the -m32 coming from? If you're trying to use the "build_arch" setting, then you're running into #20404 (or a closely related issue). If you're setting it manually, you're doing it wrong. Either way...

works for me only with standard settings (64bit), but I need to build 32bit applications and so, I set build_arch to i386
