    1 looking into this.
     1Nethack runs as root, via setuid on
     2 '/opt/local/share/nethackdir/nethack'. It might sensible to setgid as
     3 'games' or similar and set permissions appropriately elsewhere, but to
     4 run nethack as root by default is insane from a security perspective.
