A MP user was having issues installing libsdl_mixer, which I tracked down to a checksum mismatch on libsdl. I can not confirm this is a rev change with no version bump on their end, or if there was malicious code introduced. I am not familiar with this software.

What is the procedire for answering the question as to why the checksum changed?

At any rate, there is an attached dfff, which will solve this, assuming the source is to be trusted.

Looks like this applies to r58181, which is pretty old. Sounds like you need to update your ports tree....

I am not sure how, the OP had the issue, as did I, and I selfupdate all the time.
