finch 2.6.2 is missing libidn depedency

Description

I'm running MacPorts 1.8.1 on OS X 10.5.8 with Xcode 3.0.

When I try to install finch 2.6.2_0, the installation fails with the following error in the configure script: 

checking for IDN... no
no
configure: error:
GNU Libidn development headers not found.
Use --disable-idn if you do not need it.


Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

It appears to be a missing dependency; if I install the libidn port first, finch installation succeeds.
