vips has a new dependency: matio. I've opened #22580 for that library, it needs to be cleaned up and committed before this one.

Thanks, I committed your update in r61056, with some minor changes. In particular, your update undid r58270 and r58271 so I did not commit those parts. In the future please submit diffs, not full portfiles, so that you can be sure the changes you're requesting are the ones you actually want made.
