I committed your patch in r63856 with these changes:
- I did not add the epoch line because it is unnecessary.
- I did not remove the dist_subdir line because we do want swi-prolog-lite to download to the same directory as swi-prolog so that users trying both ports don't need to download the distfile twice; in fact I also added this line to swi-prolog-devel; see #22791.
I made the whitespace changes separately in r63857. Whitespace changes should be requested separately from functional changes.
