Hi,
I was able to build digikam 1.0.0 with some small changes to the Portfile. Apart from updating the version/checksum lines, I needed to add a library dependency for liblqr.
Digikam provides liblqr internally, if it doesn't find it already installed. The internal copy of it failed to compile on OS X 10.5 with the same error as Ticket 19718. So using the macports version allowed a successful build.
