Description
2.1.x is not compatible with numpy 1.4 and the current portfile variant lzo uses lzo1. Edited to use lzo2

There is already a 2.2b3 version. But we don't normally use beta versions except in devel versions of ports. See also #23832 about putting numpy back to version 1.3.

Thanks for your comments, I am still rather new to macports. 2.2b3 does not work on my OS X 10.5.8 system. There are quite a few nice new features in pytables 2.2. It seems numpy 1.4 is not required but I pulled it accidentally with an update. I could not find information about devel versions of ports.

It just means suffixing any beta/test versions with -devel (py26-tables-devel).

A slightly modified version has been committed in r70337. Let me know if this works.
