Not able to 'import Scientific' after successfull macports installation of py26-scientific

I have installed port py26-scientific using Macports, but I am not able to use the installation. The installation goes very smooth, and does not complain about anything.

However, when running 'import Scientific' in a python environment I get 'No module named Scientific'. Re-installation, cleaning, updating the port does not change the outcome. Numpy is installed using macports, py26-numpy @1.3.0_0 (active), and works fine. The installation appears to work fine, I have the following installed and active,

$ port installed py26-scientific
The following ports are currently installed:
  py26-scientific @2.8_2+macosx (active)

Any help is highly appreciated. I do not know what is causing the trouble. Thank you
