Description
ige-mac-integration has updated its API (0.9.2) This api is totaly different than 0.8.x, it is now called 'GtkOSXApplication'
Wireshark has integreated this version in trunk.
I would like to know, before posting a portfile, if it is better to update a previous port or create a new one ? (MacPort has 2 versions of ige-mac-integration 0.8.2(ige-mac-integration) and 0.8.6(py26-ige-mac-integration))

I created a new portfile cause 0.9.2 is a complete rewrite of ige-mac-integration 0.8.X. the new port is called py26-gtk-osx-application.

i added 2 variants {python25; python26}. Python26 is selected by default ... The name is now gtk-osx-application.

Is it possible to place header and lib in standard prefix : /opt/local/include and /opt/local/lib instead of /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/.... ?

Could you try this (attaching the svn diff from the gtk-osx-application directory) ? It works for me in gPodder.

since it still builds the old API on non x64 platforms (tested on Tiger), I'd be pleased to see py26-ige-mac-integration updated. I can't speak for ige-mac-integration, though.
You were talking about submitting a Portfile. By any chance, do you have one that downloads the archive properly ? I encountered issues with the space in the "GTK-OSX Build" directory...
