gc/mach_dep.c needs flag to be compiled on OSX 10.6.4 with i686-apple-darwin10-g++-4.2.1 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5664). with port ersion: 1.9.1

btw ticket:24031 seems still to be an issue.
