Description
A clean install of Macports, installing Perl5.8 with nothing else produces the following error messages: ld: in /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.6.dylib, file was built for unsupported file format which is not the architecture being linked (i386) collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: * [miniperl] Error 1 shell command " cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_perl5.8/work/perl-5.8.9" && /usr/bin/make -j2 all " returned error 2 Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed Warning: the following items did not execute (for perl5.8): org.macports.activate org.macports.build org.macports.destroot org.macports.install Log for perl5.8 is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_perl5.8/main.log Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
