Summary: mono 2.6.4 fails to installmono parallel build fails

I see this too. The first result on Google for "`mach_dep.lo' is not a valid libtool object" shows this is a parallel build issue so I turned off the parallel build in r71723 along with updating the port to version 2.6.7.

Just to say, "port selfupdate" followed by "port install mono" worked fine today. Thanks!
