Description
Hey, I love having this on the mac. Just a question : I was wondering if there will ever be a vertical split like there is on the unbuntu debian package version? Thanks.

The vertical split patch is applied in the port by default. Does it not work?

Does not seem to work. I just installed it via
sudo port -d install screen +vertical_split
Everything was built and installed fine but I cannot enable a vertical split via ctrl+a,'|'

The vertical split patch we used did split on ^A + V, not on ^A + |. But this ticket is obsolete as of r119587, because that switched to the vertical split functionality implemented upstream.
