#27200 closed defect (fixed)

lang/python26 segmentation fault when launching quod libet

Reported by: rmstonecipher@… Owned by: MarcusCalhoun-Lopez (Marcus Calhoun-Lopez)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.9.2
Keywords: Cc: elelay (Eric Le Lay)
Port: py26-gtk python26 quodlibet

Description (last modified by rmstonecipher@…)

The quodlibet Portfile has not been modified since 2010-09-15.
Attempting to run quodlibet-2.6 now always results in python aborting due to a segmentation fault.
Attached please find the contents of the Problem Report which pops up as well as the console output from quod libet.
To reproduce:

  1. Deactivate installed ports.
  2. Install quodlibet.
  3. Run 'quodlibet-2.6' from the terminal.

If the error output indicates that some port other than python26 causes this behavior, please CC or reassign the ticket to that port's maintainer.

Port: py26-gtk quodlibet added

I'd suspect the gtk/gobject native code is passing the interpreter a bad pointer.
