Description (last modified by ryandesign@…) (diff)
Hi, I'm on a new (opened the box and turned it on 2 hours ago, installed XCode/Dev tools directly from factory provided DVD) 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with latest 10.6.4. I've built and installed MacPorts successfully, but the initial self-update fails. I attach config.log and also paste the script output. Thank you very much for your help!

Is rsync blocked on your network? It appears that way.
Either unblock rsync on your network, or accept that you cannot use selfupdate and will need to use an alternate method to update MacPorts. Consult the wiki for the available alternatives.
