p5-text-tabsxwrap: new version 2009.0305, other portfile improvements

Description

The latest CPAN release of the Text-Tabs+Wrap package was made on 2009-03-05.

I'm attaching patches to the p5-text-tabsxwrap portfile to bring it up to date and to incorporate various other changes. The most important are: (1) Adding license info ("OSI-Approved" because I could not find a more specific license that characterizes the author's terms; I've included his wording in the portfile); (2) modifying livecheck.regex in place to allow it to work with the '+' sign in the name; and (3) volunteering myself as maintainer.

Please note that a more general bug (#27296) prevents livecheck from working in most Perl ports. To test livecheck in this new portfile, you will need to apply the patch in #27296 first.

  • Status changed from new to assigned
  • Owner changed from macports-tickets@… to ryandesign@…

Committed whitespace changes based on yours in r73617. Note that whenever I make whitespace changes in response to your tickets, I go a little further, and add the modeline, and move the platforms and supported_archs lines up into the top section of the portfile.

Instead of the port-specific livecheck fix suggested here, I fixed it globally in r73624.

  • Status changed from assigned to closed
  • Resolution set to fixed

Committed the rest of your changes in r73626.

Good call and a good fix! Thank you. I'm still trying to learn more Tcl as I go along. :-)
