Port: solfege

Description

I've attached a patch to update the Portfile for GNU Solfege to use version 3.19.2. I also switched the underlying Python version to 2.7. Once the maintainer OKs this patch, I can commit it, as well.

Thank you very much! I'm sorry I haven't been active in maintaining this port lately. Do I need to do anything else to "OK the patch"? And would you like to be the maintainer? I can see you must be busy maintaining many ports, but if you're actually into Solfege I know it would be great for the project to have a serious MacPorts person looking after the port. If not, I'll try to step up my attention to it. (And I don't know if it matters, but I'm actually registered at MacPorts as allencmcbride@…, not allenmcbride@…. Also, I haven't actually tested the patch -- I'm so far behind I don't even have Python 2.7 installed. You clearly know what you're doing, so I'm sure it works, but if you need someone to test it I can do that soon.) --Allen

I committed the patch in r74987.

I have a passing interest in Solfege: I only just learned about the project, and of course I wanted to install it to test it out. When I discovered that there was a port for it already, but it was out of date, I just copied the portfile to a local ports tree, updated it, and installed Solfege to play with it. I figured I could easily just push my changes back to the community, so I created this ticket. :)

I could be the maintainer for Solfege, if you'd like, but I don't know that I'd be any better at it than you. We could also both be listed as maintainers. Thoughts?

Sure, let's both be listed as maintainers; that should increase the probability of one of us getting around to updating the port for any given release. It seems like Tom Cato has been putting out a lot of releases these past few months. Thanks again! --Allen
