Downloading from the mirror shown in your log gives a file with the same checksums as listed in the portfile for me. Most likely the server had a temporary problem, or the file was corrupted in transit by a broken proxy or something. The first aid steps shown in the FAQ would get a fresh copy of the file after the problem was fixed in this case.
If you can still reproduce this after that, please give more info about the contents of the downloaded file, for example its size, whether it's a valid tar/bzip2 file, and if you can extract it, a diff of its contents against the same file downloaded from distfiles.macports.org.
