Description
I'd like to know if it is possible to update this port to the latest version. This release includes, several new key features and bug-fixes. It has been out for almost two months.

Id also like to know, in case the port update can't be done soon, is there a way to use the sources to install this either manually or with mac ports but in an alternative way?
