Hi
One of the softwares that I am trying to build (HeeksCAD) requires wxgtk with unicode enabled. It would be great to have this as a variant, rather than to do some hand hacks for that.

Assuming there is no reason, we'll just enable it all the time, as per the patch in #29112.
