Smultron 3.6b1_0 does not build on Tiger

Build failed when I tried to compile Smultron :

Bare usernames do not work in the Cc field; you have to use complete email addresses.

The errors in the log suggest this software cannot be built on Tiger. The port should prevent installation on Tiger. The valgrind port gives an example of how this can be done.
