- The patch also removes the deprecated --enable-new-packet-list configure option.

I'm not sure wireshark-devel should be updated to version 1.6.0. Maybe it should be better to update wireshark cause 1.6.x is official stable branch It seems that macports consider 1.6.0rc2 higher than 1.6.0. Maybe we should update epoch parameter ...

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Wireshark 1.6.0 being pushed first as wireshark-devel to see if everything works as planned. Then, when wireshark 1.7.0 and/or wireshark 1.6.1 gets released [1] , sync it with the wireshark portfile.
