According to #31171 r87656 fixed building gcc46 on Lion.
I was abel to build it in this environment:
gcc46 @4.6.2_0 Installed on Lion
Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)
Xcode Version 4.2.1 Build 4D502
r87835 fixed gcc46 for Snow Leopard
#31174 mentioned that you may also need to install qd prior to building gcc46. I'm not sure if it has been added as a library dependency.
