Description
In #29333 kdenlive was updated to 0.8 and mlt updated to 0.7.2, but in the mean time kdenlive 0.8.2 and mlt 0.7.4 are available. Should the ports be updated to these versions?

I am working on updating these ports, but mlt requires configure.compiler llvm-gcc-4.2 on my system (Xcode 4.2 on Mac OS X 10.6). How do I instruct port to use this on systems with clang, but default compiler otherwise?

kdenlive 0.8.2 is not released yet, and I was not nagging about outstanding tickets because I know it is releasing any day now. mlt update should wait for new version of kdenlive.
